A Multidisciplinary Approach

At Four Paws Physiotherapy, we believe that veterinary healthcare professionals should adopt a multidisciplinary approach in order to provide the best possible care for the animal patient. Thanks to your veterinary diagnosis, the role of a qualified Physiotherapist is to establish a functional diagnosis and use evidence based practice to maximize the animal’s recovery following injury or surgery.

The initial assessment and treatment session is around 30-45 minutes. An individual home program will be established for the client to perform at the end of the consultation. Advice and follow up appointments will be provided as required.

Following consultation, a written report will be sent to you outlining the assessment and treatment outcomes.

When Should Physiotherapy Start?

Treatment should start as soon as possible following injury in order to minimise secondary complications and maximize recovery.
